Donate you old Cellular phone
The
Fanwood P.B.A. Local 123 is continuing to collect old, unwanted cellular
telephones. We urge you to bring your old cell phones to the Fanwood Police
Department, the phones will be forwarded to the Donate-A-Phone program and the
phones and proceeds are applied to the prevention of domestic violence.
Usable cell phones are re-programmed to enable the user to dial 9-1-1.
They are sent to domestic violence programs throughout the New Jersey and
nation. Your old cell phone doesn’t need to be garbage, let it make a
difference, you may save a life! You can drop off the phone and any accessories
at Fanwood Police Headquarters 24 hrs a day. Please do not include packaging or
instructional booklets as we do not send them on to the collection site. We only
require the phone and any accessories you wish to include. Our last drive netted
over 1,500 phones….one of the largest collections the program has ever seen.
